This week found me traveling across the misty hills towards Alba and the vine clad regione surrounding Castello Di Grinzane Cavour.
It is a beautiful area and whilst most of the Enogastronomia conference was in underground rooms the lunch was an absolutely unbeatable location
The Castello does have a wine shop and museum covering the territory and of course Cavour, a vital player in the modernization of Italy. It also has many scenic walks you can complete from the castle. All in all its a small fun trip you can do without too much driving.
