The last day was reluctantly returning our bikes, which I had grown quite fond of we visited the Oude Keuken where we had cake and more importantly a talk about marketing.

Marketing and storytelling I have to say is a topic I find hard, I cannot say I am particularly good at it either.

Later we visited a very innovative lodging, a room in an old converted water tower,. The afternoon was left to wander around Amsterdam which I took full advantage and visited a number of art galleries and antique shops.

So from this traveling and talking and meeting what did I learn? One unfortunate lesson was that many things do not get tried or even off the ground due to regulation. and restrictions in Italy. Having said that, it no excuse to give up.

Main themes in tourism today seems to be sustainability without greenwashing, and experiences. We have been in keeping with that trend with my becoming a Cesarina last year and offering pizza and pasta lessons. We will offer combinations of those for example truffle hunting or a wine tour. We are happy to have helped plan several hens or addio nubilato parties organise really fun packed weekends.
